ARDMORE, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- The Elora J Khan Foundation supports families with children fighting brain cancer.
It's named after a Villanova girl who lost her life to DIPG.
Now, her mother who runs the foundation received her own act of kindness that she will never forget.
The vehicle that carries great memories of her late daughter was in need of repairs.
"That was the last car she sat in before a rush to the hospital...before her passing. It is also where I have cried and sobbed as a parent and just rebuilt myself...It just means that much to me. It's not just a car. This car tells my story. It tells my child's story," said Sharon Khan, Executive Director of the Elora J Khan Foundation.
That's when Ardmore Toyota ensured the fixes were made, all for free to her.
"She had some prior concerns on her transmission, something just spoke to me to get involved with it. Called some favors into corporate. They helped us out. So thank you to Toyota Corporate...really stepping up when you see somebody that needs help and you're able to do so," said Parts & Service Director at Ardmore Toyota, Joshua Fletcher.
